OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. SPONSOR
The Aru Aru for a Year Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by [Catamount LLC], d/b/a Aru Aru, located at 1501 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21231 (“Sponsor”).
2. PROMOTION PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins on August 29, 2026 and ends on September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (“Promotion Period”).
Entries received before or after the Promotion Period are not eligible.
Sponsor’s designated timekeeping method will be the official timekeeping method for the Sweepstakes.
3. ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, owners, officers, directors, agents, and immediate family or household members of Sponsor, as well as individuals or entities directly involved in the administration of the Sweepstakes, are not eligible to enter.
The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. HOW TO ENTER
There are two methods of entry.
A. Promotional Flyer Entry
During the Promotion Period, promotional flyers may be distributed with qualifying Aru Aru purchases at the Ekiben Night Market and at the Aru Aru storefront while supplies last.
An eligible participant may complete the required entry information on an eligible promotional flyer and submit the completed flyer into the designated Aru Aru for a Year entry box at:

A purchase associated with receiving or redeeming a promotional flyer does not increase the entrant’s odds of winning the Sweepstakes.
B. Free Alternative Method of Entry — No Purchase Necessary
To enter without making a purchase, visit [OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES URL / QR DESTINATION] during the Promotion Period and follow the instructions for the Free Sweepstakes Entry.
The entrant must provide the same required information requested for an in-store Sweepstakes entry.
No purchase or payment is required.
A free entry receives the same chance of winning as an eligible entry submitted through the promotional flyer method.
5. ENTRY LIMIT
Limit one (1) Sweepstakes entry per person during the Promotion Period, regardless of method of entry.
Multiple entries submitted by the same individual may be disqualified.
Use of multiple identities, email addresses, phone numbers, automated systems, bots, or other methods intended to circumvent the entry limit is prohibited and may result in disqualification.
6. GRAND PRIZE
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded.
The Grand Prize is:

The winner will receive $25 in Aru Aru promotional credit per month for twelve (12) consecutive months.
Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $300.00.
Each monthly $25 credit:
May be redeemed only at Aru Aru.
Is limited to one $25 credit per designated month.
Is not cumulative.
Cannot be carried forward into a future month if unused.
Has no cash value.
Cannot be exchanged for cash.
Is non-transferable.
Cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or unused.
May be applied toward a purchase exceeding $25, with the winner responsible for paying the remaining balance.
Is subject to Aru Aru’s normal operating hours, product availability, and applicable restaurant policies.
Unused monthly credits expire at the end of their applicable month.
Sponsor may determine the reasonable administrative method used to identify the winner and administer the monthly credits.
7. ODDS OF WINNING
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
Purchasing food, spending more money, redeeming a promotional flyer, or visiting Aru Aru multiple times does not increase an entrant’s chances of winning the Sweepstakes.
All eligible entries have an equal chance of being selected.
8. WINNER SELECTION
One potential Grand Prize winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
The drawing is expected to take place on or about October 2, 2026.
The random drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or its designated representative.
The potential winner will be contacted using the contact information provided with the winning entry.
9. WINNER NOTIFICATION
The potential winner must respond to Sponsor’s notification within seventy-two (72) hours of the first attempted notification.
Sponsor may require the potential winner to verify eligibility and provide reasonable identification before awarding the prize.
If the potential winner:
Cannot be contacted;
Does not respond within the required period;
Is determined to be ineligible;
Refuses the prize; or
Fails to satisfy these Official Rules;
the potential winner may be disqualified and Sponsor may select an alternate winner through another random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.
10. PRIZE CONDITIONS
No purchase, payment, or additional sales transaction will be required for the winner to receive the Grand Prize.
The Grand Prize cannot be transferred, assigned, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
No substitution will be permitted except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside Sponsor’s reasonable control.
The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes or other obligations that may arise from accepting the prize.
11. FREE EMPANADA PROMOTION IS SEPARATE FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES
The Free Empanada with $20+ Purchase promotion is a separate promotional offer and is not a requirement for entering or winning the Aru Aru for a Year Sweepstakes.
To redeem the promotional empanada offer, a customer must:
Present an eligible original Aru Aru promotional flyer during the applicable redemption period;
Make a qualifying purchase of $20 or more in a single transaction; and
Surrender the promotional flyer at the time of redemption.
For flyers received with a purchase at the Aru Aru storefront, the promotional flyer may only be redeemed on a subsequent visit and separate transaction.
Limit one promotional empanada redemption per eligible flyer.
Additional restrictions, product availability, exclusions, and redemption conditions may apply.
Participation in the Free Empanada promotion does not increase the customer’s chances of winning the Sweepstakes.
12. GENERAL CONDITIONS
By entering, participants agree to comply with these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions regarding administration of the Sweepstakes, which will be final to the extent permitted by law.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who attempts to manipulate, interfere with, abuse, or circumvent the Sweepstakes, its entry procedures, promotional materials, or entry limitations.
Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, force majeure, or another circumstance beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affects the integrity or proper administration of the Sweepstakes.
If the Sweepstakes is terminated early, Sponsor may select the winner from eligible entries received before termination, where legally permissible.
13. PRIVACY
Information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, contact the potential winner, and fulfill the prize.
Entering the Sweepstakes does not automatically constitute consent to receive promotional email or SMS marketing communications from Aru Aru.
Any marketing consent requested by Sponsor will be presented separately and will not be required to enter the Sweepstakes or affect an entrant’s chances of winning.
14. PUBLICITY
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the Grand Prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to announce the winner’s first name, last initial, city/state, and winning status in connection with the Sweepstakes without additional compensation.
Any additional commercial use of the winner’s name, photograph, likeness, testimonial, or other personal content will be subject to any additional permissions required by applicable law.
15. WINNER INFORMATION
Because the Grand Prize has an approximate retail value greater than $100, information regarding the winner will be made available after the winner has been verified.

16. GOVERNING LAW
The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
